1. Return Window
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund or exchange. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
2. Eligibility for Return
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:
- It must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- It must be in its original packaging.
- It must not be a final sale item (such as a clearance or promotional product).
3. Non-returnable Items
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. These include:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Certain health and personal care items, including pet hygiene products.
4. Return Process
To initiate a return, please contact us at service@jefferspaws.com with your order number and the reason for the return. You will receive instructions on how to proceed with the return.
Once we have confirmed the return request, please follow these steps:
- Carefully pack the item(s) and include all original packaging and accessories.
- Ship the item(s) to the address provided in the return instructions. You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless it is defective or an error was made on our part.
5. Refunds
Once we receive your returned item(s), we will inspect them to ensure they meet our return policy criteria. If everything is in order, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days. The refund will be credited to the original method of payment used for the purchase.
Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable, and you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the return is due to a mistake on our part (e.g., wrong item shipped or damaged product).
6. Exchanges
If you wish to exchange an item, please contact us at service@jefferspaws.com. In most cases, you will need to return the original item and place a new order for the replacement. If the exchange involves an error on our part, we will cover any additional shipping costs.
7. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective product, please notify us immediately at service@jefferspaws.com with a photo of the item and a description of the issue. We will provide you with instructions for returning the damaged product and either issue a refund or send a replacement at no extra cost.
8. Shipping Costs
Shipping charges for returns and exchanges are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an error on our part. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items over $75, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
9. Restocking Fees
In some cases, we may charge a restocking fee for returns on certain products. This fee will be disclosed at the time of your return request and will be deducted from your refund.
